These Terms and Conditions, as well as any agreements or transactions arising from the use of this website, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland. Any legal disputes will be handled under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Icelandic courts.
Shipping & Delivery Policy
Production Time:
3D printing orders are custom manufactured. Production lead times depend on model complexity and print volume, typically taking 1 to 3 business days before shipment.
Shipping Methods:
We deliver orders across Iceland via Pósturinn and Dropp. International shipping is available upon request.
Shipping Costs:
Delivery fees are calculated based on the package weight, dimensions, and destination.
Delivery Times:
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are generally 1–3 business days within Iceland.
Third-Party Manufacturing & Intellectual Property
Production Partners: To meet production capacity or specific material requirements, we reserve the right to outsource the printing and manufacturing of your orders to trusted third-party manufacturing partners.
File Security:
Any 3D files shared with third-party manufacturers are used exclusively for manufacturing your specific order and are not stored, distributed, or repurposed beyond order fulfillment.
Cancellation Policy
Custom Orders: Because 3D printed items are made to order based on customer specifications, orders can only be canceled before physical production begins.
Once 3D printing or manufacturing has commenced on your custom order, cancellations are no longer accepted.
To request an order cancellation, please contact us immediately at info@3dprint.is.
Refund Policy
Defective or Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@3dprint.is with photos of the issue. We will gladly provide a replacement print or a full refund.
Exclusions:
Due to the custom nature of 3D printing, refunds are not provided for minor aesthetic variations inherent to the additive manufacturing process or for geometry/design errors present in customer-supplied files.
Dispute Policy
We strive to resolve all customer concerns directly and fairly. If you experience an issue with our service, please contact us at info@3dprint.is so we can assist you.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, Icelandic consumer rules apply. Consumers have the right to refer disputes to the Icelandic Complaints Committee on Goods and Services (Kærunefnd vöru- og þjónustukaupa, Borgartúni 21, 105 Reykjavík, www.kvth.is).
