Where is your 3D scanning studio located and do I need an appointment?

Our 3D scanning studio is located at Laugavegur 114, 105 Reykjavík, Iceland. Appointments are strictly required in advance via booking,  email (info@3dprint.is) or phone (+354 7888963). Walk-ins are not accepted. Corporate and workshop operations are based in Garðabær.

How long does a 3D full-body scan take?

The physical scan takes 8 seconds in our multi-camera booth while holding a static pose.

Who can be scanned together in one session?

Accepted Answer

Our booth fits up to 2 adults or 2 adults + 1 small child together in a single pose.

Question 4

How much does a 3D figurine or cake topper cost?

Accepted Answer

Standard 12 cm full-color figurines start at 25,000 ISK (includes figure, custom base stand, and presentation box). Heights range from 5 cm to 25 cm.

What should I wear for my body scan?

Accepted Answer

Wear textured, colorful clothing for optimal full-color capture. Avoid 100% pitch-black outfits, highly reflective shiny leather, or transparent fabrics.

What display options and accessories do you offer for figurines?

Accepted Answer

Accessories include custom keychains, 2.5D portraits, crystal 3D laser-etched glass, bobbleheads, glass dome covers, square acrylic protection boxes, and motorized rotating music bases.
